Whist the name House 1,000 wood Cafe & Farm – บ้าน ๑,๐๐๐ ไม้ might not translate to what it means it Thai is not any reason to avoid stopping by. Another great coffee shop in Thailand that is in an extremely cute location with a resident macaw nestled alongside Bang Toei river.

If you are visiting on a weekend, do note it is a very popular place and maybe busier than stopping on a weekday.

Old Fashioned Photo Opportunities

There is a lot of fantastic farming style photo opportunities such as at an old fashioned water pump or on a tractor. I didn’t manage to get any photos as it was quite busy on the day we visited. We hope to stop past again soon. Although next time will be a weekday to chill and relax on a hammock overlooking the river.

For the kids

If you have children there is a range of activities around the theme of farming that they can engage in. Like getting water from the well or digging in the sandpit.

Cute little tree house to drink your coffee and there is also a platform and walkway quite high to get the perfect selfie. Let your legs dangle free along with all your worries.

The resident parrot Ga-Fair

They have a resident parrot who is very friendly and will eat fruit out of your hand if he chooses to. His name is ga-fair which translates to coffee in Thai. How many coffee shops in Thailand can say they have a resident parrot.

บ้าน ๑,๐๐๐ ไม้ have a range of western dishes as well as Thai food. Most dishes were priced at 95 baht. There is only a menu in Thai. To order you have to take a piece of paper from near the counter and fill it in and give to the cashier along with payment.

Upon arriving to Sakon Nakhon on our 4 day Issan trip. We drove past Little Farm Hug restaurant and instantly felt we wanted to eat there! I am so glad we did as for me, Little Farm Hug was the best food & service we had in the entire time of the 4-day trip.

Our glasses were constantly topped up and the food came out extremely fast with no compromise on taste or wow factor!

I rarely tip. On this occasion, it was worth a 100 baht to the kitchen and 100 baht to the waiters.

I have never seen prawns served with fruit salad before but I wasn’t going to let that stop me. It was actually quite nice as after finished eating all the savoury choices to have a super fresh and juicy healthy dessert which finished the meal off perfectly.

Little Farm Hug is such a cute farm-themed venue with plenty of outdoor and undercover tables. Would make a great venue for a birthday or a special occasion. Their bathrooms were clean and had no bad smells which are always nice too.

Unique 77 cafe is a definite stop for any car enthusiast when visiting Thailand. The owners and friends private collection of exotic cars and motorbikes on display for that perfect selfie, they are always changing so stop by you never know what you might see.

The restaurant has a real funky vibe with delicious food & beverages. The price is a little higher for Thailand but the ambience makes up for the visit. Beverages range around the 100 baht mark.

The second time we visited we went and had a beverage at unique 77 and then went and had lunch at rain tree cafe (which has one of the best Pad Thai of Ratchaburi) which is located on the main road in front of Unique 77.
